Senior IPS officer of 1984 batch Jharkhand cadre, Parvez Hayat has been awarded PhD on Disaster Management in March 2018 from a Central University Created by Act of Parliament Delhi. PaHayat holds Law Degree 2005-2008 from Delhi University.

About Parvez Hayat
He is a senior IPS officer of 1984 Batch.Former Additional Director General of Police with the BP R&D (Bureau of Police Research and Development) under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Parvez has had an illustrious Career as an IPS and has served both in the state government as well as Central Government in various capacities for over 30 Years in key positions .He has received training both in India and abroad which includes representing the country at Interpol in France, UK, USA and also ENA Academy of administration Paris, besides prestigious university of Berkley in public Sector Management,Smart Cities and Disaster Management. He has been also the President of vigilance study circle(VSC, NCR Delhi),A prestigious forums of sharing best practices among various public sectors and private sectors includes MNCs.Hayat has also presented a paper at International Congress on “Resilient Smart cities” at JNU in December, 2015. Hayat also has interests in Swimming, Badminton, Golf, Yoga, Fitness, Sufi Music and Movies.
