Amid unprecedented COVID, PSEs stand-by the Nation; Serving ramp up supply of oxygen

Public enterprises has always been the foundation stone of the nation since the independence of India. PSE is the backbone of the country’s economy. During the challenging conditions, Indian Public Sector Undertaking always stand-by with the nation. The unprecedented COVID 19 second wave has shaken the entire country. At this juncture our PSEs are playing an active role in fulfilling the medical related needs of the nation. PSE serving the nation ramp up supply of oxygen.

SAIL over 41000 MT of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) supply stepped up more than 900 metric tons per day.

BHEL supplying medical oxygen in Bhopal and Haridwar. Upgrading to 22000 cubic metres per day.

RINL, 1300 ton of LMO supplied Oxygen express From Vizag.

GAIL to set up pressure swing adsorption (PSA) medical oxygen generation plants at 10 locations.

Indian oil Supplying oxygen to hospital in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab. Converting unused LNG tankers into oxygen carriers. Diverting new LNG tankers for supply.

Coal India limited. Emergency utility equipment scaled up with over 1400 oxygen cylinder.

Cochin Shipyard limited. Helped set up centralised oxygen. Distribution facilities at 5 government hospitals in Kerala.

BEL settings up oxygen generation plants in 12 government hospitals across 6 states.

MDL to Fund procurement and installation of medical oxygen plant in government hospitals in Mumbai.

HAL providing oxygen points and ventilator at Bengaluru and Lucknow.

PFC financial assistance for oxygen plants, oxygen pipelines and cylinders.

SJVN limited Ventilators to hospitals in Shimla, Rampur and Khaneri.

NLC oxygen beds doubled to 100 Nos. at NLCIL hospital.

RCF to install PSA based Oxygen plants.
