Zero tolerance in public servings, settings the precedent Kamalnath Government has acted fast and suspended Officers-Employees for negligence in power supply, future the Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh SR Mohanty instructed Collectors for thorough monitoring of uninterrupted power supply in their respective districts. During the video conferencing, it was informed that an action has been taken against 387 Officers-Employees for negligence in power arrangements. Reduction in the cases of unannounced power cut has been registered. As compared to the last year, 15 percent increase has been made in power supply. The Chief Secretary said that drinking water supply should not be affected by power supply. He told the Collectors to obtain feedback constantly from patwaris, gram sachivs along with kotwars and others. He further told the collectors that they should strictly monitor power supply arrangements and register FIR against people, who obstruct power supply. Moreover, he hoped from the Collectors and Commissioners for holding constant intercation with the Senior Officers of the Power Companies during unexpected weather, storm, rains etc.
