The Congress party is facing one of the most critical time of it’s existence. At one side, it’s political opponents and on the other side it’s inside treacheries and opportunists. At the time when party’s loyalty and ideololgy means nothing and immaterial, there seems few leaders of Congress party who have been swimming against the flow, keeping their personal political career aside, not only standing like a rock with the erstwhile ideology of Nehru and Gandhi, their party’s founders but also they have been proved exceptionally loyal to Gandhi family for decades.
The State of Madhya Pradesh has played a great role in the foundation of Congress party. As the tradition goes on, Madhya Pradesh has been privileged
to produce some of these distinguished poticians who are still like pillars for the Congress party. Following the inspirational footsteps of late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, Late Arun Singh, Late Shukla brothers and veteran commander of Congress Moti Lal Vora, today Kamal Nath, Digvijaya Singh and Jyotiraditya Scindia are strong pillars of Sonia Gandhi’s headed Congress party. Over the period of time Madhya Pradesh has turned the consolidated centre of BJP and Sangh Pariwar which ruled the state for consecutive three decades. During the last assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh there were sheer hopes for BJP to retain the power due to Narendra Modi’s NDA stronghold in centre but the dedicated and convicted combination of tripartite leaders, Kamal Nath, Digvijaya Singh and Jyotiraditya Scindia jointly engulfed in defeating the stronghold Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of BJP.As a Chief Minister Kamal Nath is running his government with larger vision and big goals to which Congress state senior leadership has been supporting from backend. However due to limited margin of mandate, some leaders from within the party occasionally provide opportunity to desperately waiting opposition Party to create ruckus and attempt to dismantle ruling Congress governmen. In a fresh political controversy Environment Minister Umang Singhar went beyond the party’s platform and publicly criticised his senior leader Digvijaya Singh and another Minister Sajjan Verma supported his comments. Just like Karnataka political incident wherein the desparate opposition BJP has snatched the power from Congress-JDS led governmen taking the advantage of inside confrontation, however as result of the conflict those 15 MLAs who had betrayed the party in Karnataka turned unqualified in assembly for futur. The entire clan of MP state Congress party required to show its utmost unity and integration and abide the guidance of its senior leadership irrespective of their differences, else MP will turn the second Karnataka for which Congress opponents are desparate and well prepaired.
