Use of simple language will bridge gap between administration and peole, MP CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Hindi’s simple vocabulary in governance bridges gap between administration and people. He said that Hindi is a powerful medium to have dialogue with people to extend benefits to them easily. The Chief Minister was chairing session “Hindi in Governance” at 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan here today.
The Chief Minister said that before independence administrators maintained distance from people through English and later a mentality developed that only the speaker of English is the best. Such mentality still exists among some people who are votaries to dominance of English. He said that he is not against any language, but English never became common people’s language in India.
