NTPC has been awarded as the Best Performing Utility of the Country in Thermal Power Sector by Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) today on 4th January, 2019 at a function held in New Delhi.

R.K. Singh, Minister of State I/C for Power and New & Renewable energy, GOI presented the award to Gurdeep Singh CMD NTPC. Saptarshi Roy, Director (HR) and A. K. Gupta, Director (Commercial) NTPC were also present
