Now Chhattisgarh is equipped with DNA laboratory
Sep 21st, 2016 7:12 am | By ThenewsmanofIndia.com | Category: LATEST NEWSNow Chhattisgarh satte is equipped with DNA laboratory as a delegation of State Forensic Lab senior officers and scientists led by Director General of Police (Prosecution) MW Ansari called on Chief Minister Raman Singh on Tuesday at latter’s official residence in Raipur.
Ansari who is 1984 batch IPS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre said that DNA lab had started operating at the State Forensic Lab. The State need not send DNA sample for testing to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and New Delhi henceforth. Ultra-modern equipment of Ballistic Test unit had been installed.
The delegation expressed its gratitude and satisfaction to Chief Minister for sanctioning latest equipment during the past two years. The delegation consisted of Joint Director Shesha Saksena, Dr. G.S. Sahu, Sika Tiwari, Dr. T.L. Chandra and top officers of the Forensic Lab and senior scientists.
