(THE NEWSMAN OF INDIA.COM)An MOU was signed between DVC and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited for formation of Joint Venture (JV) company for setting up of Renewable Energy projects in the DVC command area under the UMREPP and CPSU schemes of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, GoI.

The MOU was signed on 12.03.2021 at New Delhi in the presence of C.K. Mondal, Chairman, NTPC RE Ltd and M Raghu Ram, Member (Technical) DVC and other officials of DVC and NTPC.

This is a major step towards attaining the Sustainable Development Goals and increasing the share of renewable energy in the total energy mix of the country.
