DVC records its highest ever yearly generation of 38.41 Billion Units in FY 2020-21

Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has registered its highest ever generation of 38.41 BU in FY 2020-21 with a growth of 3.26% over FY 2019-2020. The Declared Capacity (DC) of 91.14% for FY 2020-21 is also the highest ever for DVC indicating a growth of 11.67% over FY 2019-20. The Plant Load Factor (PLF) for the year stood at 62.39% which is higher than the national PLF of 53.37%. DVC power stations have successfully supplied power to the nation and achieved these milestones amidst the difficult pandemic situation.
