Abhay Kumar Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, NHPC Limited alongwith V.K. Maini, Executive Director (Business Development), NHPC met Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister of Nepal on 19th November 2021. The Prime Minister expressed his happiness over the meeting with CMD, NHPC and further assured his support to NHPC, the biggest hydropower utility of India, for hydropower development in Nepal. NHPC’s initiative was greatly appreciated and welcomed by the Prime Minister. The meeting was a significant step for NHPC under the dynamic leadership of CMD, NHPC into making a footprint in Nepal.
