CAT-II operations have started at Lucknow and Amritsar airport (AAI)

CAT-II operations have started at Lucknow and Amritsar airport with effect from 17/12/2015 evening. This will facilitate landing of aircraft in Foggy conditions with visibility down to 300 Meter. At these airports, Airports Authority of India has installed CAT-III compliant ILS with other infrastructure for commencing CAT III-B operations and the work is in progress.
